Virtual Event

Dear Rotarians

It is a great honor and pleasure for me to announce the organization of the next West Africa Project Fair. This important event for District 9101, will be held from the 1st to the 08th of November 2023 at the People's Palace in Conakry (Republic of Guinea). It will bring together 15 countries, and 731 clubs spread across 07 Districts.

It will be a first for us Rotarians of Guinea to welcome in this magnificent country with multiple natural and tourist resources, such an important Rotarian delegation of 400 participants and particularly the Rotarian friends of our District who were excited with such an opportunity, to discover the country through its touristic and cultural assets, the whole in a hospitality worthy of the Republic of Guinea and its generous populations.

Indeed Guinea, which means "woman" in the national language Sousou, is a West African country composed of four (4) natural regions: Lower Guinea, Middle Guinea, Upper Guinea, and Forest Guinea.

With a population estimated at 13 million inhabitants on a surface of 245.857 Km² and a coastline of more than 300 km, its climate is tropical and has two (2) seasons: a dry season (November-May) and a rainy season (June-October). Dear Rotarian friends, the Organizing Committee of the West Africa Project Fair 2023, would be honored by your massive participation in this great multi-district meeting, which will be held in Conakry by reserving you pleasant surprises.

Welcome to Guinea!
